On the occasion of the golden jubilee celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Technological University, the Department of Computer Science organizes a lecture on the ethics of artificial intelligence

Under the supervision and presence of the Head of the Department of Computer Science, Prof. Dr. Alaa Kazem Farhan, and on the occasion of the golden jubilee celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Technological University, the Department of Computer Science organized a lecture on the ethics of artificial intelligence on Monday 2025/4/14 at the hall of the late Dr. Imad Kazem, the workshop was delivered by the head of the artificial intelligence branch, Dr. Dina Kazem Mohsen.

The lecture defined artificial intelligence as not one technology but several technologies that can be combined to perform different types of tasks and that smart applications are systems that provide fast mobility, and touched on the ethics of artificial intelligence such as justice, equality, transparency, privacy, data protection and responsibility, and that global companies are obligated to adhere to them.

These ethics face significant challenges.

Finally, AI represents a revolution that opens new horizons to improve our daily lives in all fields. However, its success depends on using it wisely and responsibly to ensure justice for all.

In conclusion, the lecturer was awarded a certificate of appreciation for her efforts to deliver this workshop
