Computer Science Department launches tree planting campaign to mark National Arbor Day

Under the auspices of the President of the Technological University, Prof. Dr. Mohsen Nouri Hamza, and with the supervision and participation of the Head of the Department of Computer Science, Prof. Dr. Alaa Kazem Farhan, and in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on the occasion of the National Day of Afforestation, the department organized today, Wednesday 2025/3/19, an afforestation campaign to plant trees and flowers with the participation of professors, affiliates and students The campaign aims to increase the green spaces and improve air quality The campaign included publishing posters for the occasion around the department The campaign was very welcomed by all and enhanced their environmental awareness and the deanship of the department confirmed that these campaigns will continue to achieve sustainability
