On the occasion of the golden jubilee celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Technological University, the Department of Computer Science organizes a lecture on artificial intelligence and digital transformation

Under the supervision and attendance of the Head of the Computer Science Department, Prof. Dr. Alaa Kazem Farhan, and on the occasion of the golden jubilee celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Technological University, the Computer Science Department organized a lecture on artificial intelligence and digital transformation on Monday 2025/4/14 at the hall of the late Dr. Imad Kazem. The lecture was delivered by the President of the Arab Union for Digital Empowerment, Iraq Branch, Prof. Dr. Abbas Fadel Al-Jubouri.

At the beginning, the lecturer defined the Arab Union for Digital Empowerment as belonging to the Union of Arab Universities, concerned with the topics of the digital economy and everything related to information. And that digital transformation is an integration of technology that leads to fundamental changes in customer service and that artificial intelligence is a set of technologies that can be combined to perform different types of tasks and touched on the types of artificial intelligence, which are narrow, which accomplishes one task, general, which performs several tasks and super, which outperforms humans and performs large tasks.

The importance of digital transformation stands out in improving operational efficiency, enhancing user experience, creating new business opportunities and accelerating service delivery time.

At the end, a certificate of appreciation was awarded to the lecturer for his efforts to deliver this workshop
