College of Computer Science participates in the second edition of the three-minute thesis competition and qualifies for the final stage

The College of Computer Science participated in the second edition of the three-minute thesis competition held by the Technological University under the patronage of the university president, Prof. Dr. Mohsen Nouri Hamza.

The Department of Computer Security and Cybersecurity under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Rana Mohammed Hassan and with the distinguished participation of Professor Dr. Hala Bahgat Abdulwahab and her students participated in the scientific competition that aims to enhance presentation skills and innovation in the presentation of technical projects within a period not exceeding three minutes in its second edition and qualified for the final stage.

Under her supervision, the participating team shone in presenting a distinguished project concerned with information security and modern technologies in data protection, as the students showed high creativity in simplifying complex concepts and presenting solutions in a professional and concise manner.

As a result of the support of the Dean of the College, Prof. Alaa Kazem Farhan, and the fruitful teamwork, the team was able to reach the final stage of the competition and received a certificate of appreciation in recognition of its valuable contribution and excellence in performance. Prof. Dr. Hala Bahjat Abdul-Wahab expressed her pride in what her students achieved, stressing the importance of supporting young talents and encouraging them to participate in scientific events that hone their skills and open promising future horizons.
