Computer Science Department Participates in the Golden Jubilee Celebration of the University of Technology

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, and under the supervision of the President of the Technological University, Prof. Dr. Mohsen Nouri Hamza, a celebration was held today, Thursday 17/4/2025, on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the establishment of the Technological University.
A delegation from the Department of Computer Science participated in the celebration, headed by the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Alaa Kazem Farhan, and the delegation included the Department Council, assistants, heads and members of scientific committees, in addition to a group of the department’s teachers.

The ceremony also witnessed the honoring of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Tariq Sadiq with the university shield, in recognition of his scientific efforts and outstanding contributions in serving the academic process.

This participation reflects the Department of Computer Science’s pride in its affiliation with the Technological University, and confirms its continued active contribution to the progress and excellence witnessed by the university over five decades
