The Assistant President for Administrative Affairs visits the Computer Science Department and inspects the department’s exhibition on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Technological University
The Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Farhad Mohammed Osman, visited the Department of Computer Science today, Tuesday, 2025/4/15, and was received by the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Alaa Kazem Farhan, as well as the assistants and heads of branches. During the visit, the wings of the exhibition held by the Department of Computer Science on the occasion of the fifty years since the establishment of the Technological University and its golden jubilee celebration under the slogan Fifty years of excellence and giving.
The artistic exhibition was an arena for the expression of creativity, where our students displayed paintings and designs inspired by the world of technology and innovation, and displayed the trophies obtained by the department, graduation photos, scientific writings of the department’s professors, manual and artistic works, paintings and Arabic calligraphy that reflected the creativity and excellence of our students.
The technical exhibition showcased a group of robots, devices and distinctive student projects, as well as educational robots, robotic arms and 3D printers.
The distinguished computer science students displayed smart applications, analysis systems and e-commerce sites that expressed their ideas to solve real issues in society.
At the end of the visit, the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Farhad Mohammed Osman, expressed his admiration and appreciation for the high level of the computer science exhibition and the creativity of its students.
