Computer Science Department organizes a workshop on writing CVs and application letters

Under the auspices of the Head of the Department of Computer Science, Prof. Dr. Alaa Kazem Farhan, the Department of Computer Science organized a scientific workshop entitled (Writing CVs and application letters) on Monday, 7/4/2025, at the hall of the late Dr. Imad Kazem, in the presence of the scientific assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Jassem Hadi, in the presence of the scientific assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Jassem Hadi.

The workshop was delivered by student Muhammad Baqer Sajjad from the multimedia branch / fourth stage under the supervision of teacher Saima Hassan Aziz.

The workshop aims to explain how to write a resume for people who are going to apply for public jobs, which is important for students of the fourth stage.

Personal information such as name, location, phone number, email address, and a summary of the person’s skills, experience, and degree are included.

The workshop also touched on how to use the (Job Scan) application

, which determines whether this job is suitable for the applicant or not after entering his personal data. The workshop indicated that the experience can be gained by the graduate either from voluntary work, training or study.

At the end, the scientific collaborator, Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Jassim Hadi, awarded the supervisor and the student with certificates of appreciation for the efforts exerted to present this workshop.
