Computer Science Department master’s thesis discusses node failure detection using self-organization in wireless networks

The Department of Computer Science defended the master’s thesis titled

Detecting Nodes Failure Using Self Orgnization Sensor Network

by master’s student Naba Ghadeer Adel on Wednesday, 02/26/2025 at the hall of the late Dr. Imad Kazem.

The objective of the thesis is to develop a mechanism used to detect node failure in wireless sensor networks

(WsNS) using self-organization principles and swarm intelligence algorithm, which enhances efficiency and continuity. The algorithms used proved to be superior to traditional algorithms. The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Rana Farid Ghani as chairman and its members are Prof. Dr. Nada Abdulzahra Abdullah, Prof. Dr. Farah Tawfiq Abdulhussain, Prof. Dr. Asya Ali Salman as a member and supervisor, and Dr. Nidaa Faleih Hassan as a member and supervisor.
